Since our beloved Cubbies rolled over and played dead once the playoffs began, I have decided to refocus my attention on the Red Sox. You may recall my devotion to their minor league team the Portland Sea Dogs, so it's no surprise that I have become a Red Sox fan as well.
So here I am past midnight on a weekend evening watching baseball...(it's top of the ninth with two outs and the score is tied up at 6 by the way). There are probably a million other things I could be doing right now, most obviously SLEEPING, but the Sox have a magical power over Mainers, and who am I to argue with that?
Do I have any grace-filled insight? Something witty and charming to write about? No. I just hope Papelbon manages to get out of this inning without any damage.

I, for one, am thrilled that the Indians left Boston with one win and are now headed to Jacob's Field for the Indian Fever advantage. Go Tribe!
Ok, I see how it is....
;-)
No way! Are you a Cubbie fan too? I grew up watching and loving the Cubs. My childhood dream was to play first base for them. And I predicted a long time ago that they would when it all next year!
