First one of my childbirth students had her baby 2 weeks early (before classes ended I might add)! She and her husband did wonderfully, and have a beautiful baby boy now.
Then this announcement earlier in the week. Congratulations Michelle and Bill! No word yet on whether or not much back labor was involved.
And now a close friend is back and forth between the hospital, anxiously awaiting the birth of her second child. She is having contractions every 3-4 minutes, but isn't really dilating yet. Anyone who has had a long, prodromal labor, knows just how difficult it is to wait for days and weeks for birth to really get going. So my prayers go out to N. and little L. who just can't wait to be a big sister!!
update--N. just called again and is having more sign of her birthing time, so it looks like this may be *it* for her!! Yea!!!
