Tres used the potty all on his own three times today (or so I thought). I was downstairs when I heard a joyful yell from the upstairs bathroom, "Mom, I went pee pee in the potty!"
Wow, I thought, We aren't even working on potty training. I've never had one to potty train all on his own.
He asked for his piece of candy and I gave him one, heck, I gave one to Catfish too, since he was there to help with diaper removal and moral support.
By the third time tonight, I realized Catfish was just encouraging the potty training sessions so that he could get in on the share of candy.
It didn't take him long to realize that his little brother was his ticket to the candy train...if he could convince Tres to make good on the potty, then he was in with the sugar for being "helpful."
Enough of that...maybe I can try a sticker chart instead.
