Motivation ideas

As you might be able to tell from my last post, I'd much rather bask in the sunny memories of today than get down to business and organize my week. So I'd like to ask my dear readers--all four of you ;-), if you have any ideas/words of wisdom for motivation. Is there something that really gets you going when you just.don't.want.to?

Do you say a certain prayer? Listen to music? Do what's hardest first? Do what is easiest? Just looking for some new ideas, because that is much easier than using what I already know. And I find myself frequently looking for "the next best thing."

Is there a Patron Saint for Procrastinators?

I just put one foot in front of the other. It's hard. I prefer to not do my work. Setting timers help - "I'll do this for just 15 minutes." The next thing you know, it's done. I also say, "No computer until I do XYZ" or things like that.

I have no ideas. I do the same thing. One thing that does help me is music, but even that does not get me started usually. I need ideas too.

what really motivates me is simply just the completed task. i like how it feels to be "done" with it, and not having to keep thinking about getting it done...so that usually does it for me.

by the way... happy anniversary!!! i really love that sweet picture. so glad you posted it.
