I've been doing some computer spring cleaning today and I'm a bit overwhelmed. I have six different email addresses (each with a different password of course) and countless accounts and user names for other sites. For right now, my memory works to keep all these groups and their log-ins separate, but I wonder what will happen as I get older? Will my own feeble mind be enough? Will I still need all these addresses? I mean honestly, why don't I just consolidate down to one or two? As for all the different sites I visit or shop, how can I expect to keep up with them? Do any of you keep a written record of user names and passwords? I generally just type a few of my standards in until one of them works, but as my head feels full of cobwebs today, I can't help but wonder if there is a better way.
Maybe I'll just rely on St. Isidore, patron saint of the Internet.

I do keep all my passwords for sites that aren't personal (like bill paying sites, etc) written down so that if something was to happen to me Darrick would be able to access them. The rest of the stuff... I'm like you, I usually just put in a few of the usual usernames/passwords until something works, lol!
Brandy--
Good to "see" you. I know, I really ought to have everything written down. FlyLady would have a cow if she knew how disorganized my "control journal" is :-)
Hope you and the girls are doing well!
