Can anyone explain to me how RSS feeds work? I've tried reading up on it, but I just get lost in the mumbo-jumbo.
What I'd particularly like to know is how to read blogs that have updated? But I think the whole RSS thing sounds interesting for other sites as well.
Any insight would be most appreciated.

Hey! I use a website called bloglines.com. It's a really simple device that keeps all your rss feeds in one place. All you have to do is put the web address you want to keep an eye on in the "Add" section, and whenever that site has been updated will become bold in your list of sites. Most blogs have rss on them from the get-go, and lots of other sites have it too (I keep up with some webcomics through bloglines as well). Even better, I have a widget at the bottom of my firefox page that tells me when something has been updated in my bloglines, so I don't have to go back and check bloglines every five minutes (for those times when you're deathly bored lol).
Try it out and if you have any other questions, lemme know!
btw: so so sorry I missed you. That was really a comedy of errors, and the food poisoning was just the cherry on top. We'll make a reunion happen one day - you can count on it!!
