insight

Apparently I write when I am busy and overwhelmed, but not so much when things are sailing along.

For what it's worth, I suppose that gives you some insight to my psyche.

Which brings me to tonight's post.

I'll be having a minor surgical procedure tomorrow and I'm nervous. I trust that it really is minor and that my doctor is capable...but it is my first time having any kind of surgery (unless you count my wisdom teeth being pulled when I was 18) and I'm feeling unsettled.

And so I'm here---asking you to send prayers and positive thoughts my way.

They would be most appreciated.

I'll update when I'm able and if you're up for it, I may even divulge all the sordid details ;-)
