We've made our way to Maine for the last of our summer trips. What an amazing summer we've had thus far...I feel so lucky to get one last vacation in before school starts!
On the way up, we stopped in Newport, RI and Plymouth MA. We had some amazing seafood at Scales and Shells and then toured the Mayflower II and Plimouth Plantation. Since we already visited Jamestown, Colonial Williamsburg and Yorktown earlier this summer, Plymouth and the Pilgrims seemed like the perfect last fit to the puzzle.
For the next few days, we'll just be playing in Maine. The plan is to visit lots of friends, eat at our favorite restaurants and sing along like goofballs in the car. It may not be restful, but it will be fun.
