We had kid excitement around here as Sparky lost his first tooth yesterday. It has been wiggly for a month now, but yesterday before lunch it wiggled right out. He was so excited to have it happen at school because the teachers have a tooth keeper necklace that the tooth-loser gets to wear for the day. I, however, was bummed. I wanted to be there to see the moment.
Of course by time it was bedtime the tooth had disappeared from the tooth-locket-necklace and so there were a few tense moments as we scoured the living room looking for it. You would not believe how many tiny pieces of white stuff we found on the floor. Hard, white stuff, but not the tooth. Hmmm.....that's a bit scary. Crumbs maybe?? Ewww....
But anyway, I finally decided to shake out the rug and lo and behold out came the tooth. Sparky was overjoyed, and the tooth fairy was back in business.
I still want to write about our day trip to Baltimore, beginning potty training with Tres and the midnight visit from the tooth fairy...but real life calls and I need to watch the bird feeder with the boys.

I have been happy that Princess has lost her teeth with the assistance of Dad. Something about pulling a tooth out grosses me out. How exciting for Sparky though! Good luck on potty training (will be starting that with Monster in a couple of months I think).
