I think I'm in love...

I have given in and I have no regrets.

I hired a cleaning lady.

Michelle
was kind enough to offer me the name and number of Ms. C, who cleaned for her when she lived in this neck of the woods.

Let me just tell you, this lady is gooooooood.

I mean, she cleaned out my toaster oven.

And she scrubbed my tea kettle. I don't know if I have ever scrubbed the outside of my tea kettle.

Oh yeah, its love at first sight.

Now I just have to figure out which kid doesn't get to eat this week to afford it. Kidding--just kidding.

Honestly, the mental sanity is worth any penny pinching we may have to do. When I signed up for this gig, I distinctly remember it was "staying home with the kids" not "staying home to mop floors and scrub toilets." And right now, my kids need my attention and my focus, not my yelling at them because I HAVE to mop and I HAVE to scrub the potty. So the yelling goes away and Ms. C comes to clean. And our rebate/refund from the feds does go to strengthen the economy.

And yes, it may seem high-falutin...but oh....it seems worth it. Did I tell you she cleaned the toaster oven?????
