Strawberry fields forever
We went berry picking just outside of Bowdoinham on Friday and had a fantastic time. I'm sure I overpicked, but I simply could not help myself. The berries were huge, bright red and so yummy looking. We've made a strawberry tart, several jars of freezer jam and we're still working on eating the last of them. I probably should have frozen the rest already, but I think I'll use the last ones in a salad we're taking to a neighborhood bbq tonight.
