Unfortunately it probably won't be as interesting as the ones on SNL.
We've had a wondeful visit Nana and Grandpa and are now trying to regroup and reorganize again.
(Sidenote--Have you ever noticed that upon becoming a parent, the most constant thing in life is change? Or maybe its that way for everyone and I notice it more now as a mom. I feel like all we are ever doing is readjusting to something new. New teeth, new sleeping schedule, new school schedule, new seasons. Being a parent is busy. Very, very busy. Duh. I know. Somehow though, it helps me sort things out in my head to admit the obvious.)
Anyhoo....we had so much fun with Nana and Grandpa and with Grandma a few weeks before. We are a blessed family to have such amazing Grandaparents! I only wish we lived closer to everyone so that the visits weren't so infrequent.
So here's the quick and dirty roundup of the last week---we hosted a Feria party, planted our garden, visited the wildlife refuge and dined on lobster *yummy*.
My next goal is to try and figure out a good routine for the summer that includes gardening, exercising, writing and prayer time. I think I may have to give in and become a morning person instead of a night owl. I've been pondering this idea for months (maybe years) and I think its really the only way to get everything in to my day that I want to do. I've tried the night owl thing for years and while I do enjoy the quiet, I frequently end up overtired and crabby rather than feeling productive and refreshed. So that's what I'm up to for now....that and laundry. But I'm always doing laundry.
