rearranging

My friend Catherine and I rearranged the living room and play area today. We started on the boys' room as well, but didn't get a chance to completely finish the upstairs. I'm very happy with the updated living room, hubby liked it too. Once the upstairs is done, I think we will be all set for the next few months.

You'd think that with all the moving we do, I'd be content to leave the rooms alone while we live in a house. But no, I'm not. Even with moving every two years, I find myself rearranging at least a few rooms each year.

My poor boys never know what they'll come home to see ;-)

Seriously. I can't even fathom that we will be moving in the next six to nine months. I'm just not ready yet. Its much easier to deal with what I can control. Namely whether the couch goes against this wall or if it would be better over there.

I just got a book: "That Military House: Move It, Organize It & Decorate It". So far, I've just thumbed through it, but it looks good.

Thanks for the link (below). It's tough to bear my soul, but if it got you thinking, then that's a good thing!

oooh, that sounds like a good one. My sister has just become a new military wife (she's been a wife for a few years now, but her hubby just joined the service), so maybe I'll get it for her too!!

And yes...your post was a very good thing!
