It is so good to know that even with such a melancholy start to the day, things can improve.
We spent the afternoon visiting friends we've known since our days in the Wild West. We haven't lived near them for two years now and only saw them once in the last year, but the boys all picked up like they'd never been away from each other. The laughter and craziness coming from a bunch of boys playing indoor-hide and seek soothed my soul today. And catching up with a dear friend over several cups of tea and some most excellent salsa (but not together) was exactly what I needed.
We talked life and love, and faith and kids, and school and moving, and friends and family, and well you get the point. We talked. A lot. And I can't wait until we can get together again.
Added bonus, she blogs :-) So now I can keep up with her there too!

I'm glad you had a good visit. I love all of my online friends and chatting online... but there is no substitute for a face to face girl talk!! ((HUGS))
