Speaking of

Comic Strips as (Testosterhome was on the 11th of the month), and newspapers in general, anyone care to comment on their favorites comics and/or columns? I love to get the daily paper---it lets me keep up with the news without having to have the tv tuned in to the yucky parts. But the comics have always been my favorite. That and Dear Abby (who in my opinion has always been WAY more interesting then Ann Landers).

I'm a big For Better or Worse Fan, love Baby Blues too, and of course Cathy. But I read them all whether I like them or not...just to keep up with the stories.

As for columns, I think Leonard Pitts of the Miami Herald is one of my favorites for commenting on the affairs of our country. I don't always agree with him, but I think he's a balanced writer and I have an incredible amount of respect for him. I found him while I was teaching a Race Relations class several years ago, and I've enjoyed reading his work ever since.

I also enjoy Michelle Singletary's work. Goodness knows I can always stand to learn more about money, and last but not least, Carolyn Hax, because she helps people to understand the how's and why's of better relationships.....hmmm, I never realized how much I like the Post's columnists. But anyway....

Do you have favorites that you keep up with?
