A wonder-full day!

Ahhhh, it is so wonderful to have had a great day with the boys. Especially after a VERY LONG and STRESSFUL previous day! Yesterday I was about ready to sell them off to the highest bidder. It was just one of "those" days. But today....man, today started out right. First thing this morning, Catfish whispers to me at the breakfast table "I need a cheek." ?!???

Huh???

When I finally figured out what he was saying, I offered him my cheek and I promptly received a big, fat kiss. It was awesome!

Then the rest of the day just went smoothly....everyone got dressed without a fight, we had a nice playdate with Carter, we made it through the Commissary without any incidences, came home made some rice krispy treats and then they went off for their naps. Where, I might add, they blissfully drifted off next to me without ANY fussing. Just that quick drifting off to sleep where all you hear is the two of them breathing. Ahhhhhhh.

It doesn't get much better.

Next I had a "parent-teacher conference" --although honestly, what are we really discussing with preschoolers---but Ms. Jessica basically told me they are doing wonderfully. Well ahead of their age group for letter and number recognition.

Dinner, bath and bed even went smoothly and look, here it is 840 p.m. and i am experiencing free time, because they went to bed on their own, without me sitting in the room.

I can't get over what a good day we've had. I need these once in a while. Of course, it makes me nervous for what's in store tomorrow, but that's ok. Today was simply blessed by God---and I am incredibly thankful for it!!!
